Proof of the growth in Colorado life sciences may in part be benchmarked by quantifying ‘who is noticing us’. Well Colorado bio has found its way on to the radar of Burrill & Company, perhaps the premier life science merchant bank, located in San Francisco (learn more about Burrill & Company here).
G. Steven Burrill, CEO of Burrill & Company and industry pioneer will be the keynote speaker at the February 22nd Colorado Bioscience Association's Bio Breakfast (register here).
On this date FBBi too is holding its monthly advisor board meeting and Mr. Burrill may sit in for a portion of that. Among other agenda items often covered at the FBBi board meeting is the presentation of early-stage life science companies who are afforded invaluable strategic advice from a exceptionally talented board.
Here is a tangible example of the outside sitting up and taking notice of Colorado bio, a great indication of greater things to come.
