Boulder Bio 3.0

There are many reasons why one may want to pick up a copy of the new 2006 Bioscience Colorado Magazine published by the Colorado BioScience Association. This publication has really come into its own. But I must say…I was blown away by the article A Brief History of Boulder Biotech by Kyle Lefkoff of Boulder Ventures. A local bio-history buff could not have asked for more. Beyond the history lesson is an incredible chronology company tree dating back to 1940 detailing acquisitions, name changes, mergers and other linkages of the Colorado bio-scape to the present. Like Stephen Hawking’s theory that the universe is continuing to expand one may infer from Kyle Lefkoff’s lesson that the Colorado bio-universe too shall continue to expand.
