Invention to Venture: Denver Life Sciences

Invention to Venture the workshop in technology entrepreneurship national tour pulls into Denver on 13 March. The day long seminar (8:00am – 4:00pm) is tailored for students, post-docs and researchers. Sounds like the business schools in CO may want to bring this to the aspiring MBA’s as well.

Invention to Venture provides an overview of the venture development process, from the perspective of academic researchers as well as representatives from the bioscience industry in Colorado. Participants will hear from successful academic researchers turned entrepreneurs, learn about University licensing and IP issues, discuss how to build a venture team, secure funding sources, and related topics as well as have an opportunity to network with members of the growing bioscience community of Colorado.

For more information and to register for I2V:Denver Life Sciences contact Danielle Harlow at danielle.harlow@uchsc.edu.

This seminar is being sponsored in part by the Alternatives in Science club. So after you register to attend I2V be sure to look at the AIS club and join an org dedicated to career development for students, post-docs, and faculty of the University of Colorado. Everyone is welcome to join (here).
